Tampa Bay Lightning rookie Jonathan Drouin will miss the next three to four weeks with a fractured right thumb, the team confirmed Tuesday.
Drouin hurt his hand when he fell while participating in drills last Thursday and didn’t participate in camp activities on the weekend with what Lightning officials called and “upper-body injury.”

The 19-year-old was selected third overall in the 2013 NHL Draft. He spent last season with the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he registered 29 goals, 108 points, 43 penalty minutes and a plus-50 rating in 46 games.
