Oilers’ Hall could miss a month with MCL sprain

Taylor Hall left the game against the Vancouver Canucks after a hit saw his legs swing right into the bars of the Vancouver net.

Taylor Hall will miss two-to-four weeks with an MCL sprain, the Oilers announced Sunday.

Edmonton’s marquee forward was driving hard to the net early in the second period of Saturday’s loss to the Canucks when he was tripped up by Vancouver defenseman Christopher Tanev. Hall crashed into into the net with his right leg hitting the post hard.

He left the game and did not return.
