Devils’ Taylor Hall will play against Blackhawks

Before I got hurt New Jersey Devils forward Taylor Hall talks about recovery from injury and adjusting to the move to New Jersey.

New Jersey Devils forward Taylor Hall will return to the lineup Thursday night against the Chicago Blackhawks.

To make room for Hall, the Devils have placed forward Reid Boucher on waivers, who has just two assists in nine games played this season.

Hall missed eight games after he had arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus on Nov. 16.

The Devils will welcome him back with open arms after they went 2-4-2 without him in the lineup.

In 14 games this season, Hall has five goals and seven assists, and his 12 points still have him fourth on the team in scoring despite the time he missed.

Hall has struggled with injury problems in the past. In 2014-2015 he managed to play just 53 games due to a cracked ankle, but just last year he appeared in all 82 games for the Edmonton Oilers.
