Connor McDavid is getting by with a little help from his friends.

The Edmonton Oilers rookie is up against Joe Pavelski in Round 2 of the EA Sports NHL 17 cover vote, and in an effort to get him to the next round, McDavid’s Team Canada teammates are giving their Twitter followers incentive to vote.

From poetry to the promise of embarrassing videos, the team’s bid to get McDavid on the cover even had Brendan Gallagher and Brad Marchand getting along for once. Well, sort of.
