Team Canada’s three Olympic sweaters slammed

A photo of all three new Team Canada Olympic sweaters made the rounds on Twitter Tuesday.

The red version of Team Canada’s 2014 Olympic ice hockey sweaters already leaked weeks ago, but Tuesday brought us a first look at all three sweaters the national men’s team plans to wear in Sochi. You know, allegedly:

As was the case with the first look of Canada’s new uniform, the response on social media to the red, white and black sweaters wasn’t favourable.

Hockey Canada plans to officially unveil the sweaters on Oct. 6, so technically these are still alleged versions.

“We look forward to telling the story and innovation behind the jerseys at that time,” the organization stated earlier this month.
