Tommy Wingels signs with Chicago Blackhawks

Free agent Tommy Wingels is landing with the Chicago Blackhawks on a one-year deal.

The 29-year-old spent the first seven seasons of his NHL career with the San Jose Sharks and was traded to Ottawa at the trade deadline. He scored seven goals and 12 points this past season.
