Jaromir Jagr, the ageless, mullet-topped star of the Florida Panthers, scored two goals Saturday night against the Winnipeg Jets. The two tallies pushed him past Brett Hull on the NHL’s all-time goals list and put him in sole possession of third spot.
Now with 742 career goals, Jagr sits behind only Gordie Howe (801) and Wayne Gretzky (894) on the all-time list. What milestone could he hit next? Well, Jagr now has 1,845 points, just five behind Gordie Howe for third on the NHL’s all-time points list.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Jagr’s latest historical marker.
Jagr 742. Now alone in third all-time. 59 away from Gordie Howe.

Jagr now 3rd all-time in goals with 742 in 1606 games.
Took him 970 games to score 513 goals.
Ovechkin scored 513th tonight in game 815.

Jagr has 20 goals on 102 sog this year (essentially 20%). His career high was 20.1% in 1996-97 (at the age of 24!)

This is what the all-time scoring list would look like if you added Jaromir Jagr's KHL goals.
Jagr: 808 (742 + 66)

Sometimes I can't believe Jaromir Jagr is actually real

Jaromir Jagr is the only NHL player older than me. He's scoring goals and I'm delaying going upstairs because of all the steps.

I will always wonder if Jagr would have been able to break the scoring record if he don't go on his KHL sabbatical.

Great standing ovation for Jagr in Florida. The Jets stood at the bench too.
742 goals behind only Gretzky and Howe.

I bought a stitched Jagr jersey in grade 10. And Ehlers was -4 years old.
