Twitter reaction: Leafs make Dubas assistant GM

Toronto Maple Leafs president Brendan Shanahan unveils Kyle Dubas as the new assistant general manager.

Leave it to the Toronto Maple Leafs to turn a slow day in the sports world on its head.

The Maple Leafs announced Tuesday they had parted ways with VP of hockey operations Dave Poulin as well as VP and assistant general manager Claude Loiselle. More importantly, the team announced the hiring of Kyle Dubas as its new assistant GM.
