Twitter reaction: Leafs win! Leafs win!

It wasn’t fun being a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs earlier this week after the team lost 9-2 to the Nashville Predators.

Even Anne Murray wasn’t pleased.

But, oh, what a difference a win makes. The Maple Leafs took on the Tampa Bay Lightning Thursday and beat the third-place team in the East rather convincingly, 5-2.

So all that rage from Tuesday washed away and Twitter was a more humorous and enjoyable place for Leaf fans Thursday – especially when it came to everyone’s favourite coach, Randy Carlyle.

Enjoy it while it lasts.
