Buffalo Sabres defenceman Tyler Myers is tall – and it’s clearly a challenge for him to not throw high hits.

Myers took a two-minute penalty for an illegal check to the head against Tampa Bay Lightning centre Cedric Paquette in the first period of play at the Amalie Arena on Friday.

Almost one year ago to the day Myers received a three-game suspension for an illegal head check he threw on New Jersey’s Dainius Zubrus.
