It appears that USA Hockey will have a new general manager at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
Former Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke will not be brought back as general manager by USA Hockey, as first reported by Sportsnet 590 The Fan’s Greg Brady.

The Americans are expected to go with a current NHL general manager and some potential candidates include Ray Shero of the Pittsburgh Penguins, David Poile of the Nashville Predators, and Dean Lombardi of the Los Angeles Kings.
Without Burke in charge, USA Hockey would not be expected to keep Ron Wilson as head coach for the upcoming Olympic Games.
Burke and Wilson led the United States to a silver medal at Vancouver 2010 when the Americans lost in overtime to Canada in the gold medal game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs fired Burke before the start of the 2013 season. He took a mid-season scouting job with the Anaheim Ducks – the team he won a Stanley Cup with in 2006-07.
