Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows was forced to leave Wednesday night’s game briefly after a hit from Minnesota Wild winger Nino Niederreiter.

Burrows, who has missed 33 games this season, left immediately for the dressing room while Niederreiter was given a two-minute minor for interference.

Burrows would later return to the game.

In 40 games played this season, Burrows has mustered just five goals and 14 points.
