Watch: Vince Vaughn bets big on Blackhawks

Actor Vince Vaughn, a regular attendee of Chicago Blackhawks games, talked hockey with Jay Leno Monday night.

Gigantic Chicago Blackhawks fan and onetime NHL 94 aficionado Vince Vaughn stepped away from his Madhouse rinkside seats to talk a little puck with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show Monday.

Fans will recall the Fred Claus star’s omnipresence during the Hawks’ 2010 Stanley Cup run; Vaughn is almost as synonymous with Chicago home games as The Fratellis.

But when Leno asked Vaughn how much money he had resting on the Hawks-Kings series, the lanky fellow said he refused to mix finance with fandom.

“Sometimes when you bet you heart, it’s enough, Jay,” quipped Vaughn, who is optimistic that his Blackhawks can close out the Western Conference final against the Los Angeles Kings. “When I say I’m betting my heart, that means my feelings are on the line.”

Although Game 3 goes Tuesday in L.A., where The Tonight Show tapes, Vaughn will not be in attendance at Staples Center. Busy promoting The Internship, the star had to jet off to New York.

But not before Leno had a chance to give him a mini Duncan Keith jersey.
