What’s been the best game of the playoffs so far?

The Penguins gutted out blowing a three goal lead to eliminate the Capitals for the 8th time in their last nine playoff meetings thanks to a Nick Bonino OT winner. Catch all the action from a wild game 6.

Tuesday night’s Game 6 between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals still has the hockey world buzzing.

It had some beautiful goals, an absurd string of delay of game penalties, a great comeback, and an overtime period that included great chances for both teams.

But was it the best game of this year’s Stanley Cup playoffs?

Here are three candidates.

Game 7 – Blues 3, Blackhawks 2:
Just as they had in Game 6, the Blues earned themselves a two-goal lead only to have the Blackhawks come back and tie the game. With 11 minutes left in the third, Troy Brouwer put St. Louis in front and this time they stayed there. Not to say Chicago never came close, as Brent Seabrook hit both posts with four minutes left.

Game 4 – Predators 4, Sharks 3 (3OT):
The longest game of the playoffs so far saw these two Western opponents go back and forth for over 110 minutes before Mike Fisher sent the Nashville crowd into hysterics.

Game 6 – Penguins 4, Capitals 3 (OT):
The Penguins stormed out to a 3-0 lead, only to watch it evaporate after the Washington power play comes alive. Jay Beagle makes a heroic diving save only to have Nick Bonino end the series minutes later.
