Minnesota Wild defenceman Jared Spurgeon will miss the team’s next two games and may be out for another three after that, head coach Bruce Boudreau said on Thursday.
The Wild take on the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday and the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. Spurgeon will miss both tilts, and if he is indeed unable to travel with the team on their upcoming road trip, he’ll miss games against the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks as well.
Through 23 appearances this season, the 28-year-old rearguard has 15 points.
