Wild’s Jason Zucker leaves Stadium Series game after hit from Rozsival

Watch as Chicago Blackhawks defenceman Michal Rozsival is given a game misconduct for this hit on Jason Zucker of the Minnesota Wild.

Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker has left Sunday’s Stadium Series matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks, and is questionable to return after taking a hit from Chicago defenceman Michal Rozsival.

The team is calling it an upper-body injury.

With just under five minutes remaining in the second period, and his team up 4-0, Zucker tried to play a puck and was knocked down by Rozsival, whose shoulder made contact with Zucker’s head.

Rozsival was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for interference, though it does appear as though Zucker made contact with the puck just prior to being hit.

Zucker, 24, has 12 goals and 10 assists in 57 games this season.
