QMJHL: Comtois scores two goals in Tigres win

SYDNEY, N.S. — Felix Lauzon scored 1:12 into overtime as the Victoriaville Tigres slipped past the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 4-3 on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Maxime Comtois scored twice for Victoriaville (4-5-1), while Carl Marois added a goal as well. Olivier Tremblay made 36 saves for the win.

Alexandre Gosselin, Maxim Lazarev and Colin MacSween supplied the offence for Cape Breton (5-3-2). Alexandre Belanger stopped 37 shots for the Screaming Eagles.

The Tigres went 1 for 4 on the power play, while Cape Breton was 1 for 5 with the man advantage.

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Julien Nantel had a pair of goals and added an assist as the Huskies topped Sherbrooke.

Francis Perron, Martins Dzierkals, Philippe Myers and Jeremy Lauzon rounded out the attack for Rouyn-Noranda (8-1-1).

Alexis Vanier, Julien Pelletier and Vincent Deslauriers scored for the Phoenix (3-6-1).
