SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Saint John winger Bokondji Imama scored three goals as the Sea Dogs beat the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 4-1 Sunday in a battle between the top two teams in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Matthew Highmore added a goal and an assists for Saint John (21-7-4), which moved two points clear of the Armada atop the QMJHL standings.
Spencer Smallman set up three goals, while Alex D’Orio had a quiet day in goal, stopping 12 of the 13 shots he faced.
Remy Anglehart scored for Blainville-Boisbriand (20-8-4) while a busy Samuel Montembeault stopped 36 shots.
The Sea Dogs were 2-for-4 on the power play, while the Armada were shut out on all three of their chances with the man advantage.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Tyler Hyland scored the winning goal in the second period as Cape Breton edged Victoriaville.
Jordan Ty Fournier and Phelix Martineau gave Cape Breton (16-13-3) a two-goal lead 11 minutes into the game.
Pascal Laberge and Tristan Pomerleau scored later in the period for the Tigres (17-12-4) to tie the game 2-2, before Hyland capped the scoring 7:17 into the second.

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Vladimir Kuznetsov had two goals and an assist and Reilly Pickard made 31 saves as Acadie-Bathurst shut out the Oceanic.
Rodrigo Abols also scored twice for the Titan (15-14-3), while Jeffrey Truchon-Viel added a goal and an assist.
Gabriel Morency surrendered four goals on 26 shots for Rimouski (15-16-2) before being replaced by Charles-Olivier Levesque, who stopped 16 of the 17 shots he faced.
