TORONTO -- Nik Antropov is leaving the only NHL team he has ever played for.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are sending the veteran centre to the New York Rangers for a second-round draft pick and a conditional draft pick.

Antropov has 46 points (21-25) in 63 games this season.

The Leafs selected the six-foot-six, 230-pound Kazakh with the 10th overall selection in the 1998 NHL entry draft.

He has 291 points (125-166) in 509 career regular-season games.
