MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Jesse Shynkaruk scored 1:31 into overtime as the Moose Jaw Warriors held on to beat the Regina Pats 6-5 on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.
Tanner Eberle had a three-point night — including two goals — to pace the offence for Moose Jaw (26-31-5). Jack Rodewald, Brayden Point and Brett Howden also chipped in.
Adam Brooks scored a hat trick for the Pats (33-20-9), with Patrick D’Amico and Jesse Gabrielle adding the others.
Zach Sawchenko turned away 34 shots for the win while Tyler Brown made 28 saves for Regina.
The Warriors went 2 for 5 with the man advantage while the Pats scored once on three opportunities.
