Here are my predictions for Saturday's UFC 80: Rapid Fire in Newcastle, England.

Penn vs. Stevenson

Stevenson by TKO. I’m going with the upset here. Stevenson has all the tools and less pressure than Penn has on him.

Gonzaga vs. Werdum

Gonzaga by TKO. His powerful strikes will be the difference.

Liaudin vs. Davis

Davis by TKO. Davis’s heavy hands and success in Europe will give him the advantage.

Gouveia vs. Lambert

Gouveia by submission. Gouveia’s well-rounded skills give him an edge.

Rivera vs. Grove

Grove by submission. Rivera won’t catch Grove like Cote did.

Hardonk vs. Robinson

Hardonk by decision. Hardonk’s fit, talented, and it’s now or never for him.

Kelly vs. Taylor

Taylor by decision. Taylor’s experience should make a difference.

Lee vs. Sakara

Lee by decision. Sakara is moving down to 185 after this fight… the excuse for a loss has already been made.

Eklund vs. Stout.

Stout by TKO. The “Hands of Stone” will do their job.

betting against the best pound for pound fighter in the world in favor of a guy who hasn't beat a top five fighter in his division, hmmm.

Man this might be the worst card the UFC has put togeather in the last two years. And considering all the talent they've extracted from PRIDE in the last year that's a real shame

and who has Stevenson exaclty beaten?

Your counting him over a guy who has beaten Takanori Gomi, the best lightweight in the world as of right now, Matt Hughes, Cal Uno, Jens Pulver, Din THomas and Renzo Gracie

Joe Stevenson- Dokonjonsuke Mishima, Yves Edwards and Melvin Guillard

Werdum will probably loose because he is awful, i dont care if he has already beaten Gonzaga, he couldnt beat the best fighters. Look at his fihgts agiasnt Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria and Sergei Kharitonov at PRIDE 30 and Critical Countdown ABSOLUTE

Wow big deal he has beaten Tom Super Can Erickson, Roman Zentsov, Jon The Can Einemo and Aleksander Emilanenko and Allastiar Overeem

not a single win by KO/TKO of any of those fighters and even then Overeem, Aleks and Zentsov are really the only names he has beaten but the guy needs to use thos strikign skills he has learned with Mirko Cro Cop and Remy Bonjasky

I mean Bonjasky has won the K-1 World Grand Prix 2 or 3 times and the same with Mirko so Werdum sohuld have some striking ablility by now but Gonzaga will probably win it

rest of the picks are fine except Stout by TKO? Come on he has foguht in K-1 before and if you fight in K-1, you are one of the best strikers in the world

Sam by KO
