The Nevada State Athletic Commission has scheduled a formal review of the Jan. 31 title bout between Georges St. Pierre and B.J. Penn, for which St. Pierre's win was marred by controversy because of accusations that his cornerman illegally applied Vaseline to his body.

NSAC executive director Keith Kizer informed MMAjunkie.com that it will look at submissions from both camps during its next scheduled meeting on March 17. This includes a six-minute, 35-second video from Penn's camp and a 17-page document submitted by St. Pierre's trainers and doctors last week.

It will also involve a public meeting with both camps sending representation.

It's unlikely that the outcome of the bout will be affected or that St. Pierre will face any punishment. However, members of St. Pierre's camp could be disciplined.
