Fighters Only Magazine is reporting that Takanori Gomi is interested in leaving the confines of Japan for the MMA world overseas in North America, and specifically, the UFC.

The former No. 1 lightweight in the world realizes that time may be running out for his career so if he can capture the fire the burned inside of him when he held the Pride lightweight division on his shoulders, he can be a force in the UFC's already stacked 155-pound class.
