During fight week, Wednesday is dedicated as the media workout day, where the fighters show up, roll around, hit some pads and address our questions.

First off was Michael Bisping, who was emanating an air of confidence while addressing every topic that came his way. We recorded a few items for our Sportsnet Connected shows, as well as a "Getting to Know" segment with "The Count".

When I asked him if he felt he was a better coach than his UFC 100 opponent, Dan Hendesrson, he basically said the proof was in the pudding. Just take a look at the results if you disagree.

When Henderson showed up, he was his typical calm self. Nothing fazes the former two division Pride champion.

His response to Bisping's coaching claim was met with a smile. He complimented the U.K. team and was happy with how his American fighters turned out. If he could have one wish, he would have simply liked the option to put together his own team.

When Georges St. Pierre arrived, he walked to the centre of the matted area, sat down, legs crossed and invited everyone to join him for a modified media scrum.

GSP showed a ton of respect for Alves but made it clear that come Saturday night, he will prove that he is the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet.

Frank Mir showed up and the media room immediately split up into two areas. Mir was dropping some serious MMA science and analogies with nearly every answer he gave.

He knows he's in Lesnar's head but is fully aware the dangers the big man brings to the table. He made it clear to me -- if he has a limb, he will torque it until he feels Lesnar tap. He knows he may only get one chance to win this fight, so he will make the most of that opportunity.

When Brock showed up, the mood in the media room changed. Most fighters show up with a trainer or two, but not Lesnar. The champ always shows up with an entourage which includes his manager, huge training partners and of course, his attorney.

Lesnar's demeanor is always hit or miss -- you never know if he'll be in a good mood or if he's going to snap at any time. After several questions, his attorney put an end to the session.

We were lucky to get Brock to join us on our "MMA Connected" set where were able to get our own questions answered with the champ, as well as a "Getting to Know" segment. He was great, until we asked about Fedor -- interview over. He took the mic off and walked.
