To say UFC 100 has been a monumental event thus far would be an understatement.

The Sportsnet crew have been all over Sin City recording and attending various events that I do not think I can remember everything that actually happened.

The official press conference was held at the House of Blues, where there were so many media I lost count at over a hundred. Dana White later confirmed that there are 240 members of the media that have been accredited for the show.

Gone are the days when there were only a dozen or so of us - now there are packs of media from so many different countries that speak a variety of different languages.

The fighters who attended the press conference were Dan Henderson, Michael Bisping, Tiago Alves, Georges St-Pierre, Frank Mir and Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar came up to the podium and stated he had done enough to promote the fight and that he would not answer any questions. As he tried to walk off the stage, White convinced him to stay and the conference continued without any more hiccups.

After we cut and fed the story back to Sportsnet, we met up with Tito Ortiz in his hotel suite. Ortiz's wife Jenna Jameson came into the room to say hello, and eventually returned with the couple's twin baby boys.

After we all shared various baby stories and predictions of which one of the boys would follow in their father's footsteps, we proceeded with the interview which we will air on Monday's episode of MMA Connected.

My evening was then spent with the Wolfslair's Academy Crew. From owner/manager Anthony McGann to fighters Quinton Jackson, Cheik Kongo, Paul Kelly and others, the wee hours of the early morning came very quick.

Next up was the UFC Fan Expo, where I had the chance to interview the likes of Kimbo Slice, Royce Gracie, Randy Couture, Antonio Noguiera, Dan Hardy and so many others.

We then did a tour of the Expo where I was able to interact with so many fans that made the trek from Canada. While we were filming, I met folks from B.C. all the way to Newfoundland.

We then had the weigh-ins, which saw all fighters make weight with a few memorable staredowns. Jon "Bones" Jones non-staredown, Coleman's physique, Alves gulping down his drink and Mir being ripped at over 245 pounds were my highlights.

The evening was capped off with a Dana White Q&A with the fans, followed by a very emotional hall of fame induction ceremony for Chuck Liddell and Charles "Mask" Lewis.
