Day 3 in Philadelphia in advance of UFC 101 involved a trip to the Rocky statue and batting practice with the Phillies.

Our third day started in the streets of Philly, where Frank Trigg and I shot two segments - one breaking down the two big fights at UFC 101 as well as a sleeper fight we both have our eyes on: Amir Soddolah vs. Jonny Hendricks.

We also discussed B.J. Penn's allegations that Georges St-Pierre takes steroids.

It’s safe to say this story seems to be picking up a life of its own.

When we were done, we met up with Tracy Lee from combatlifestyle.com, as well as Joe Stevenson and one of GSP's trainers, Greg Jackson.

It’s safe to say that Jackson is taking the high road regarding Penn's allegations.

From there I did three different radio interviews before the Sportsnet team met up with Tito Ortiz and a UFC public relations manager.

We all jumped into a black suburban and headed over to batting practice with the Philadelphia Phillies.

We were greeted by Shane Victorino, the all-star centre fielder for the Phillies and we recorded a classic segment with Ortiz swinging away on the field.

Victorino was great at giving Tito some pointers during batting practice and was golden throughout the segment. I'm looking forward to when it all goes to air.

After getting a tour of the dugout and clubhouse, we headed back to the UFC 101 weigh-ins where Tito received an amazing ovation from the crowd.

We headed backstage to record a segment with the Octagon girls for MMA Connected.

Arianny, Logan and the newest member of the team, Natasha Wicks were simply golden. You're gonna love what they do this time around, especially with Arianny taking a shot at yours truly.

All that's left is for us to head back to the Rocky statue and the infamous stairs where I plan on doing the run like the Balboa character did in the movies. It should be fun.

Up next, the fights.

Looking forward to all of the bouts on the card and especially to how the Philly fans are going to react if any of the fighters put on a poor performance.

It could get ugly in the Wachovia Centre on Saturday night.
