Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski has signed a new multi-fight deal with Strikeforce, and his next fight is expected to be against Antonio (Bigfoot) Silva.

The matchup, which is scheduled to take place May 15 in St. Louis, was first reported by Sherdog.com.

Arlovski last fought in June 2009 in Strikeforce, where he lost by TKO to Brett Rogers in a mere 22 seconds.

Silva, the former EliteXC heavyweight belt-holder, is coming off a loss to Fabricio Werdum in November.

Also reported by MMAjunkie.com Monday, Rogers is expected to take on Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem in a non-title fight at the same show.

The promotion's next major event will be April 17 in Nashville, where middleweight champion Jake Shields will face former UFC and Pride champion Dan Henderson, making his Strikeforce debut, and will headline the show on CBS.
