Rory MacDonald.Expect to see "The Waterboy" take on "The Immortal" in November.
Numerous sources have confirmed that welterweight prospect Rory "The Waterboy" MacDonald is likely going to square off against rugged veteran Matt "The Immortal" Brown (11-9) at UFC 123, tentatively scheduled for November 20th.
MacDonald, who hails from Kelowna, British Columbia, suffered the first defeat of his young career, when with seven seconds left in his UFC 115 bout vs Carlos Condit, the referee stepped in to halt the action.
It was a bitter pill to swallow for the 21-year-old Canadian, but the UFC eased his pain by awarding him (and Condit) a bonus of $85,000 for "Fight of the Night".
Brown will also be looking to return to the win column, having lost his last two bouts via submission, to Chris Lytle and Riccardo Almeida, respectively, and may also be fighting to keep his job with the UFC.
UFC 123 is expected to be headlined by former light heavyweight champions Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida.
