The first UFC event in Sweden will be headlined by the country's biggest MMA star.

Alexander Gustafsson is set to take on fellow light-heavyweight Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the main event at UFC on FUEL 2 on April 14 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, UFC officials announced Tuesday.

Gustafsson (13-1) is coming off a first-round knockout win over Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC 141 in December. The 24-year-old has won four straight in the UFC, all by stoppage within the first two rounds. Gustafsson, whose only career loss was to Phil Davis at UFC 112, has been to a decision just once in his professional career.

Nogueira (20-5) is also coming off a first-round victory. At UFC 140 in Toronto the Brazilian defeated former UFC champion Tito Ortiz by TKO to snap a two-fight losing streak. Since 2005 Nogueira has defeated the likes of Alistair Overeem, Dan Henderson, Matyushenko and Luiz Cane.

A bantamweight bout between Brad Pickett and Damacio Page has also been added and is expected to take place on the main card.

Pickett (20-6) is coming off a submission loss in his native England to Renan Barao at UFC 138. Page (12-6) is coming off two consecutive losses to Brian Bowles at UFC Live: Sanchez vs. Kampmann and to Demetrious Johnson at WEC 52.

Other bouts on the UFC on FUEL 2 card include: Alessio Sakara vs. Brian Stann; Siyar Bahadurzada vs. Paulo Thiago; DaMarques Johnson vs. John Maguire; Cyrille Diabate vs. Jorgen Kruth; Simeon Thoresen vs. Besam Yousef; Francis Carmont vs. Magnus Cedenblad; Papy Abedi vs. James Head.

The untouchable

Junior dos Santos could be the face of the heavyweight division, if not the UFC as a whole, for quite some time.
