TORONTO -- Lightweight Jim Miller, coming off a submission win over Melvin (The Young Assassin) Guillard, will face Nate Diaz next.
The fight is set for the third UFC on Fox televised card, slated for May 5 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J.
UFC president Dana White announced the fight via Twitter, noting Diaz (15-7) has won three submission of the night bonuses and five fight of the night bonuses while Miller (21-3) has three submissions bonuses.
One of those fight bonuses for Diaz came last time out in an impressive win over Donald (Cowboy) Cerrone. Miller earned a submission bonus cheque for his stoppage of Guillard.
The New Jersey card will also feature a 135-pound battle between Ultimate Fighter winner John Dodson, and Darren Uyenoyama. Both men are moving down from 135 pounds to compete in the UFC's new flyweight division.
