The Maximum Fighting Championship lightweight champion Antonio McKee weighed in seven pounds over the 155-pound limit ahead of his MFC 32 title defence and was subsequently stripped of his belt.

Brian Cobb, McKee's opponent, also missed weight, coming in at 155.6 pounds and the fight has since been changed to a three-round, non-title, catchweight bout.

MFC president Mark Pavelich said that after Friday's co-main event bout, win or lose, McKee will "never" fight for the MFC again, even if he wins in spectacular fashion. He said Cobb will stay with the organization should he win, but he'll be released with a loss.

It was the first time in MFC history that both fighters participating in a championship bout missed weight, according to Pavelich, who was irate Thursday. With the athletic commission in Edmonton, fighters don't get another opportunity to lose the extra weight.

MFC 32 is headlined by a light-heavyweight bout between Canadian Dwayne Lewis and former UFC fighter Wilson Gouveia. Former Ultimate Fighter contestant Ryan McGillivray is also on the card.

MFC 32 takes place on Friday at the Mayfield Conference Centre in Edmonton.

Here are the complete weigh-in results:

- Dwayne Lewis (205) vs. Wilson Gouveia (204)

- Antonio McKee (162) vs. Brian Cobb (155.6)

- Ryan McGillivray (171) vs. Diego Bautista (170)

- Dhiego Lima (171) vs. Nathan Coy (169)

- Jamie Toney (169) vs. Kyle Jackson (170)

- Dan Ring (154) vs. James Haddad (158)

- Garret Nybakken (155) vs. Matt Jelly (155)

- Allen Hope (186) vs. Brendan Kornberger (184.6)

Junior dos Santos could be the face of the heavyweight division, if not the UFC as a whole, for quite some time.
