A dynamic featherweight bout between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier has been added to UFC 178.
McGregor (15-2) has won 11 straight bouts dating back to November 2010 and has amassed a perfect 3-0 mark in the UFC. The rising Irish star is coming off a TKO win over Diego Brandao last weekend in Dublin.
Poirier (16-3) has won three straight in the UFC and is closing in on title contention. In his last outing, Poirier finished Akira Corassani with strikes at the TUF Nations Finale in Quebec City in April.
UFC 178 takes place Sept. 27 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Here is a look at the fights currently scheduled for that event:
