Ronda Rousey set to host Saturday Night Live

Former UFC champion (Rowdy) Ronda Rousey will host "Saturday Night Live" on Jan. 23.

The NBC show made the announcement via Twitter.

Rousey, who lost her bantamweight title to Holly Holm in November, is no stranger to the world of entertainment. The former judo Olympic bronze medallist has appeared in such films as "The Expendables 3," Entourage" and "Furious 7."

She is currently involved in a remake of "Road House."

The musical guest on Jan. 23 will be Selena Gomez.

SNL also announced that actor Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren in the new "Star Wars" movie, will host the Jan. 16 show. The musical guest will be Chris Stapleton.
