London, Ont.’s Jesse Ronson is hoping the third time turns out to be the charm when he takes on Kevin Lee at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale July 6 in Las Vegas.
Ronson (13-4) was on the losing end of split decisions to Michel Prazeres and Francisco Trinaldo in his first two UFC appearances. Prior to his UFC debut, the 28-year-old had won eight straight bouts on the Canadian MMA circuit.
Lee (7-1) is a talented prospect out of Michigan who’s coming off a competitive unanimous decision loss to Al Iaquinta in his promotional debut at UFC 169 in February.
The TUF 19 Finale is headlined by B.J. Penn vs Frankie Edgar and takes place one day after UFC 175.
