Just a few days after it was reported that Anderson Silva wanted a chance at revenge with Chris Weidman, “The Spider” got his wish.
On Saturday, UFC boss Dana White announced that Silva and Weidman would once again square off in the octagon on Dec. 28 in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at UFC 168.
As a result, the women’s bantamweight title fight between Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate will be the co-main event.
Weidman shocked the MMA world when he knocked out Silva in the second round of their UFC middleweight championship bout at UFC 162 ending the Brazilian’s seven year, 17 fight undefeated streak.
