This week on UFC Central presented by 888poker.net:
The UFC event in Sweden may not have featured Light Heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson due to cut he suffered in his final sparring session, but the fight card did move forward with no shortage of action inside the octagon. We recap all the fights that took place in Stockholm, and look at whether Gustafsson could return to action any time soon.
The UFC won’t take any time off as this Saturday they head to Las Vegas for the live finale of the Ultimate Fighter featuring bantamweights Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen in the night’s main event. We breakdown all the bouts scheduled for the Mandalay Bay Events Center, that will not only include several fighters from this past season of TUF, but a pivotal match in the women’s division that will see either Miesha Tate or Cat Zingano earn a title shot, plus the position to coach opposite Ronda Rousey on the upcoming season of the Ultimate Fighter.
Another big fight going down on Saturday features Travis Browne and former contender Gabriel Gonzaga. Browne is featured in our latest “Getting to Know” as the heavyweight answers a wide variety of questions surrounding his life outside of the octagon.
Don’t forget that the Ultimate Fighter Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen continues this Tuesday night on Sportsnet with the semifinal match-ups.
Then on Saturday night you can catch the prelim fights for the Ultimate Fighter Finale live on Sportsnet One at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the main card on FX Canada at 9 p.m. ET, where the next Ultimate Fighter will be crowned.
