It’s an early start for mixed martial arts fans in North America Saturday.

UFC on Sportsnet: Mousasi vs. Latifi takes place in Sweden and will air live early in the day in North America.

Gegard Mousasi headlines in a light-heavyweight bout against Sweden’s Ilir Latifi, who makes his debut while stepping in on four days’ notice to replace his injured teammate Alexander Gustafsson. Due to the last-minute change, their bout will be scheduled for three rounds, despite UFC main events typically being five-rounders even if not for a championship.

The main card will air on Sportsnet ONE starting at 2 p.m. ET.

In the co-main event, British lightweight veteran Ross Pearson welcomes Ryan Couture, son of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, to the UFC. Couture makes his Octagon debut after fighting with Strikeforce.

Also, Matt Mitrione meets Phil De Fries in an important heavyweight tilt, while Brad Pickett and Mike Easton clash in a bout between bantamweight contenders.

The event takes place at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
