Holly Holm is finally where she belongs. On Thursday, UFC president Dana White announced the organization signed the popular rising star.

Holm, one of the more marketable fighters in the women’s bantamweight division, has long been mentioned as a potential future opponent for current UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.

The 32-year-old trains with the Jackson-Winkeljohn team in her hometown of Albuquerque, N.M., and is considered one of the best strikers in female combat sports. She has amassed a perfect 7-0 record since making her MMA debut in March of 2011, just three weeks before Rousey had her first pro fight.

Holm went 33-2-3 as a pro boxer and has finished six of her seven MMA opponents by knockout or TKO.

It remains unclear when Holm will make her UFC debut or who her first opponent will be.
