PARIS — Usain Bolt will run the 100 metres at the Areva Meeting on July 4.

Diamond League organizers said on Wednesday the six-time Olympic champion from Jamaica will race at the Stade de France for a fifth time, but for the first time in the 100 since 2010.

Bolt, the world-record holder in the 100 and 200, holds the meeting record of 9.79 seconds.

Paris is the eighth leg of the Diamond League.

Bolt, who withdrew from the meet last year with a foot injury, has yet to finalize his summer program before the world championships in Beijing from Aug. 22-30.
