Brenneman vs. Noke moved to UFC 152

Charlie Brenneman is going to get to fight Kyle Noke after all.

The welterweight Brenneman was slated to square off with Australia’s Kyle Noke at UFC 151 before an injury to Dan Henderson, and Jon Jones’ unwillingness to fight a new opponent, derailed the entire event.

But now, according to Sportsnet.ca’s “Showdown” Joe Ferraro, Brenneman vs. Noke will take place at UFC 152 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Sept. 22.

Brenneman (15-4) took to Twitter to vent his frustrations about his cancelled fight tweeting:

“@jonnybones U can send my check to PO box 198. EH NJ. Rent is due the first, so preferably by then. Thanks. @ufc.” Brenneman has since deleted the tweet from his timeline.

Noke (19-6-1) is coming off of two consecutive losses, to Ed Herman and Andrew Craig, and will be looking to rebound against Brenneman who is also coming off of a loss, to Erick Silva.

Also at UFC 152, Dan Miller was slated to square off with Sean Pierson before being derailed by an undisclosed injury. The UFC is working towards finding a new opponent for Pierson at the event.
