MADRID — Canadian champion Celina Toth claimed the bronze medal on women’s 10-metre tower on Sunday to conclude the fifth stop on the FINA Grand Prix diving circuit.

It was the second time this weekend that a Canadian diver earned a first career medal on the circuit after Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu of St-Constant, Que., placed third on three-metre on Friday.

On women’s tower, Chinese divers were 1-2 with Siyu Ji first at 372.45 and Miya Suo second at 356.95. Toth, also third in the preliminaries and semis on Saturday, followed at 318.00.

Toth, from St Thomas, Ont. and now based in Victoria, is tuning up for the World University Games next month in South Korea.
