Stars sign defenceman Ryan Suter to four-year, $14.6M contract

The Dallas Stars have signed defenceman Ryan Suter to a four-year contract worth $14.6 million deal.

Suter, whose long-term contract was bought out by the Minnesota Wild at the start of this off-season, scored three goals and added 16 assists in 2020-21.

Recognized as one of the game's best offensive defenceman during his prime, Suter averaged more than half a point per game during his best years with the Nashville Predators and Wild. In 656 career regular-season games, he has 55 goals and 314 assists.
