Bobrovsky to start in goal for Russia vs. U.S.

Sergei Bobrovsky will start in net for Team Russia against the U.S. on Saturday at the Sochi Games.

It will be the Olympic debut for the Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender, who won the Vezina Trophy for the 2012-13 season.

Semyon Varlamov started in Russia’s opening game on Thursday and made 12 saves in the 5-2 win against Slovenia.

Jonathan Quick will make his second consecutive start in goal for the Americans. Quick stopped 22 shots in a 7-1 rout over Slovakia on Thursday.
