Sportsnet ONE is a 24-hour national sports channel that features over 800 hours annually of compelling live-event programming, the majority in high definition. The channel’s line-up is highlighted by the Toronto Blue Jays, Indian Premier League, Major League Baseball, Toronto Raptors, National Basketball Association, Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball and Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Rogers Media, the owner of Sportsnet and Sportsnet ONE, received approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission for a category 2 mainstream sports channel license in March. The national channel has the ability to broadcast regional content and currently has five million subscribers. Sportsnet, Canada's source for high definition live-event sports telecasts, consists of five channels: Sportsnet ONE, Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West, and Sportsnet Pacific. The network launched on October 9th, 1998.

Sportsnet ONE subscribers in the Flames region will watch Flames games on the companion channel, Sportsnet Flames

Sportsnet ONE subscribers in the Oilers region will watch Oilers games on the companion channel, Sportsnet Oilers

Sportsnet ONE subscribers in the Senators region will watch Senators games on the companion channel, Sportsnet Sens
