FLAMES LOOK TO CROWN THE KINGS THIS SUNDAY

Flames play seven games on Sportsnet during October, all in high definition

CALGARY (October 7, 2010) – The Calgary Flames host the Los Angeles Kings in their home opener at Pengrowth Saddledome on Sunday, October 10 at 7 p.m. (MT) on Rogers Sportsnet West.

Peter Loubardias calls the play-by-play while former NHLer Charlie Simmer handles the analysis. Roger Millions is the host of Telus Flames Hockey on Sportsnet.

Flames Connected will preview the game and provide analysis immediately following the game.

Flames will also host later next week the Florida Panthers on Thursday, October 14 at 7 p.m. (MT) on Rogers Sportsnet Flames. Sportsnet Flames is the companion channel to Rogers Sportsnet ONE. Subscribers to Sportsnet ONE will watch 19 Flames games on Sportsnet Flames.

Telus Flames Hockey broadcast schedule on Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Flames features more games than any other broadcaster, including 58-regular season match-ups, all available in high-definition.
