OILERS LOOK TO CAGE THE PANTHERS THIS WEEKEND

Oilers play five games on Sportsnet during October, all in high definition

EDMONTON (October 7, 2010) – The Edmonton Oilers close out their two-game home stand when they host the Florida Panthers on Sunday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m. (MT) on Rogers Sportsnet Oilers.

Sportsnet Oilers is the companion channel to Rogers Sportsnet ONE. Subscribers to Sportsnet ONE will watch 16 Oilers games on Sportsnet Oilers.

Kevin Quinn will call the play-by-play while former National Hockey Leaguer Louie DeBrusk handles the analyst duties. Host Gene Principe rounds-out the broadcast team on Telus Oilers Hockey on Sportsnet.

Oilers Connected featuring host RJ Broadhead will preview the game and provide analysis throughout the broadcast including the intermissions and immediately following the game.

Telus Oilers Hockey broadcast schedule on Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Oilers features more games than any other broadcaster, including 56-regular season match-ups, all available in high-definition.
