Sportsnet offers one-hour show including exclusive feature with Georges St-Pierre

TORONTO (December 20, 2010) – Rogers Sportsnet looks back at the past year in the octagon with MMA Connected: The Best of 2010 on Tuesday, December 21 at 9 p.m. (ET)/6 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario and Sportsnet ONE.

MMA Connected: The Best of 2010 will offer the most memorable moments with UFC president Dana White and include an exclusive behind the scenes look at Canadian Georges St-Pierre, the night before the defence of his welterweight championship at UFC 124 as he goes into final preparations for his fight against Josh Koscheck.

“Showdown” Joe Ferraro will interview Canadian UFC welterweight fighter Sean Pierson in-studio while former light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz joins Ferraro via satellite from his gym in California. Some of the other features include:

• Top 10 fights of the year

In addition, fans who voted for their 2010 fighter of the year on sportsnet.ca will see the Top 10 results at the end of the show.
