SPORTSNET COUNTDOWNS THE YEAR’S TOP STORIES WITH 2010: THE WRAP
Sportsnet will also present 2010: The Lighter Side
TORONTO (December 23, 2010) – Rogers Sportsnet will countdown the year’s biggest sports stories from some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment with 2010: The Wrap on Friday, December 24 at 7 p.m. (ET)/7 p.m. (MT)/8 p.m. (PT) on all Rogers Sportsnet channels.
Later in the evening, Sportsnet will follow with 2010: The Lighter Side at 8 p.m. (ET)/8 p.m. (MT)/9 p.m. (PT) featuring some of the best plays, hits, fights and sound bytes of the year.
2010: The Wrap will list the Top 20 sports topics of the year including Team Canada’s gold medal performance at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Brett Favre, Tiger Woods, Chicago Blackhawks, San Francisco Giants and Lebron James. The stories will not only be discussed from Sportsnet personalities, but also from celebrated athletes, actors and musicians. Some of the highlighted celebrities include:
• 2010 National League MVP Joey Votto of the Cincinnati Reds • Formula One champion Jacques Villeneuve
• Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat

2010: The Lighter Side will poke fun at some of the more humourous events in sports during the past year and will feature a special appearance from 2010 Winter Olympics gold medalist Heather Moyes.
