SPORTSNET GETS YOU CONNECTED FOR SUPER BOWL XLV ALL WEEK IN TEXAS

Sportsnet Connected provides Super Bowl coverage all week including 30-minute special this Friday

TORONTO (January 31, 2011) – Sportsnet Connected kicks off the best coverage for Super Bowl XLV with all the news and previews leading up to a special 30-minute edition of Connected at the Super Bowl on Friday, February 4 on Rogers Sportsnet Ontario at 6 p.m. (ET)/3 p.m. (PT).

Connected anchor Brad Fay will host the special with reporter Arash Madani previewing the big game and featuring the following:

· The development of Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers

· Whether Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger will solidify his legacy with a win on Sunday

· The similar construction of the Pittsburgh and Green Bay franchises

· The ageless wonder of Steelers’ receiver Hines Ward

The Connected team will provide reports along with NFL analyst Jamie Dukes on the early and primetime editions of Connected all this week in Arlington, Texas and right up to the game between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday – featuring coach and player interviews as well as previewing both teams going into the 45th edition of the Super Bowl. Connected will have all the post-game interviews, highlights and a breakdown of the pivotal plays after the conclusion of Super Bowl XLV on Sunday, February 6th.
