ROGERS SPORTSNET TO BE CANADA’S EXCLUSIVE BROADCASTER OF THURSDAY’S UFC LIVE: SANCHEZ VERSUS KAMPMANN

Main event will be live and in HD on Sportsnet ONE

TORONTO (March 2, 2011) – Rogers Sportsnet will be the only Canadian destination for UFC Live: Sanchez vs. Kampmann airing live on Thursday, March 3 on Sportsnet ONE starting at 9 p.m. (ET)/6 p.m. (PT).

The event will also be available on tape delay that same night on Sportsnet East and Sportsnet Ontario at 11:30 p.m. (ET), Sportsnet West at 11:30 p.m. (MT) and Sportsnet Pacific at 2 a.m. (PT). The highlight of the main card will be a welterweight bout between Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann. Sanchez is one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC and is coming off a unanimous decision over Paulo Thiago at UFC 121 in October 2010. Sanchez’s opponent, Kampmann, barely lost at UFC 121 in a split decision over Jake Shields. The main card will also feature Ultimate Fighter 7 finalist C.B. Dollaway in a middleweight tilt versus Mark Munoz. Dollaway is coming off three straight victories, the latest was a submission of Joe Doerksen at September’s UFC 119 that garnered the Submission of the Night title. Munoz beat Aaron Simpson in a unanimous decision at UFC 123 in November of 2010.
